WHY

Chalmers Capitol Ford Lincoln has been a part of the Northern New Mexico community for over 45 years.  Each year, we spend a substantial amount of money advertising our business.  After one of those "Eureka" moments, we thought, why not take a portion of that budget and give it back to the community we serve.  And so "Chalmers Capitol Cares" was born.  We will be reducing our advertising and giving that money to charities in Northern New Mexico.  It has been said that "word of mouth" is the best advertising available, so we hope you will tell all your friends about our Chalmers Capitol Cares program and how it can help your favorite charity.

HOW

Each time you visit our main Service Center or one of our Quick Lanes and have any service work performed on your vehicle we will donate $1 to your favorite charity.  We will also donate $1 if you have your vehicle repaired at our body shop, CF Collision.  Remember, we service all makes and models.  Purchase any new or pre-owned vehicle and we will donate $50 to your choice of charity.  We anticipate writing 25,000 to 30,000 repair orders in 2011 and selling 1300 plus vehicles so you can see how quickly the money can add up.

Each time you have your vehicle serviced in our Main Service Center, one of our two Quick Lanes, or have your vehicle repaired at CF Collision, a Repair Order is generated.  For each Repair Order we generate, one dollar will be set aside in in the Chalmers Capitol Cares Fund, when someone purchases a new or pre-owned vehicle from us, fifty dollars will also be set aside in the Chalmers Capitol Cares Fund.  Our goal is to invest at least $100,000 into the non-profit community during 2011 calendar year.

Non-profit organizations can apply for grants using the simple form found here.  All applications will be screened and those found appropriate will be approved and funded from Chalmers Capitol Cares Fund.  Unfortunately not every request can be granted as our funds are limited.  Our primary focus in the following categories:

            Child and Youth Development

            Education

            Feeding the Hungry

            Animal Rescue and Care

            Adult, Youth and Child Wellbeing
